Terms & Conditions

  1. Course places and accommodation are only confirmed once the required payment has been made.

  2. Should a student wish to cancel their place on a course, all fees are non-refundable unless a replacement is found.  In this event the student will receive a refund with a £50 admin fee deducted.

  3. If a student is unable to attend a day on any course, no refunds will be given.

  4. Payments or deposits for any other courses, accommodation or events are also non-refundable. Only when a course or event is cancelled will money be refunded.

  5. Courses may be cancelled due to viability.

  6. For the Masters course the day begins at 9.30am. Tea break is at 10.45 for 15 minutes. Lunch is from 12.30-1.30, with another tea break at 2.45.  Students begin clearing up at 3.50pm and the day ends at 4pm. Lunch needs to be brought but students are able to help themselves to tea, coffee and biscuits. There is also a kettle, microwave, oven and fridge.

  7. Students are responsible for the safety of their own work and equipment.  Students are responsible for setting up their work and at the end of a session are required to put their work away and remove all equipment.  Any equipment left in the studio is done so at their own risk.

  8. Students are responsible for marking their own setup with labelled masking tape.  When the work is finished they are responsible for the removal of tape.

  9. Thursdays and Fridays are set aside as a non-teaching days where students can continue their work.  The fee for this is £18.00. This needs to be booked in and is subject to availability.  These days end at the earlier time of 3.15pm.

  10. Those doing portrait work and thus paying for a model will be expected to pay model fees if they miss a day due to unforeseen circumstances.
