Painting floral still life

Course Description

During this three day course students will learn how to go about composing and painting flowers in a still life. Composition, value definition, colour influence and overall harmony will be discussed and demonstrated. If the weather allows we will also explore outdoor flower painting and the light effects associated with that. The course will consist of a series of demonstrations and one to one tutoring. We will be painting freshly cut flowers from our own fruitful garden planted by Fran Phillips of Www.flowersfromthefarm.co.uk/crickhowell. All materials are included in the price.
