Landscape painting in Oils

Course Description

Students will learn the basic principles behind landscape painting. Composition, value definition, colour influence and overall harmony. Some experience in oil painting is recommended. The four days will consist of a combination of demonstrations and one to one tutoring Students will learn; Value planning Colour harmony Compostion Editing Given our wonderful surroundings painting the landscape here is always interesting, rural Wales is rich in its plentiful and varied landscape with livestock, rivers, mountains, lakes. Join us for an enjoyable four days in the beautiful Welsh countryside and explore your relationship with nature. Materials list will be available on payment. Refreshments will be provided at break times. (Lunch not included)
